Hello

I'm Chloe - the human behind Northshore Paws!

I grew up in Cornwall and have adored animals for aslong as I can remember. Most of my earliest memories involve being around pets of some kind including dogs, horses, guinea pigs and rabbits - to me a family just isn't complete without them! My beloved Maisie was the first dog I got to call my own, and from a young age I took a keen interest in training and caring for her, as well as the many other animals I was lucky enough to have.

My Story

I moved away for University in 2014 and stayed to work in the city for a few years afterwards. During this time and prior to this I often walked dogs for friends, family, and neighbours - I jumped at the chance to help look after others' pets whenever I could! For a while I felt like something was always missing, and I realised that I wanted my everyday job to involve animals. I therefore came to the decision to move back home to pursue my true passion. I have since undertaken various courses to learn more about canine behaviour and care to build up my knowledge and experience.

It's all of this that brought me to setting up Northshore Paws. It's a dream come true to be able to be around so many lovely pets on a daily basis; I know this is exactly what I was supposed to do! I also have a keen interest in understanding dogs and their behaviour, and it's something I am always looking to expand on. I am hoping to soon start my level 3 qualification in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare to better understand my four-legged clients!
